Pyrford & Wisley Flower Show

Not a drop of rain fell, slightly windy so taping things down was the order of the day! The children made beeswax candles, designed honey jars, made bee book marks and spotted the queen in the observation hive. Members talked to the general public in helping support the bees through Adopt a Hive Scheme, introduced people to our new beekeepers training program  and candles were bought and honey tasted.

All in all a very pleasant day. Thank you to the many volunteers for their support: Coleen, Sarah, David & Heather, Craig & Leslie, Mark, Christine, Nick & Fiona.
