Open Apiary to all Members

Last Thursday, saw more experienced beekeepers attend the apiary where groups carried out various tasks including:

• Catching a Swarm safely from a tree;
• Clipping Queens;
• Uniting two colonies;
• Introducing a new queen to queenless hive;
• Setting up an apidea with virgin queen;
• Swarm Management;

The next session for more experienced beekeepers will be on Thursday 25 June from 6:15pm.
