Welcome to Surrey Bees. Surrey Bees’ main objective is to promote beekeeping in Surrey and provide further education and support to beekeepers.

Surrey Bees takes an active part in the education of Children in Beekeeping through visits to local schools, scouts and girl guide groups and Children’s Parties.

Children’s Parties:

We provide a 90 minute presentation, with honey tasting, bee craft activities including candle rolling and bees in an observation hive (weather permitting) for groups of children aged 5+ years. Presentations are tailored to the age of the group. Price from £200.

We also invite young beekeepers to attend and pass the BBKA Junior Assessment Certificate.

Junior Certificate

We also offer beekeeping courses for teenagers up to BBKA Junior Certificate which also covers the ‘Skills’ element of DoE Award.
